NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASES OR TRANSACTIONS WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
I. ELIGIBILITY
Sweepstakes open to legal residents of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin, aged 18 years or older, except individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed services for Sponsor or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prizes, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" means parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" means people who share the same residence.
II. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER
Fill out an official entry form at INeedSpainSweepstakes.com between 10:00 AM Central Time on May 30, 2011 and midnight Central Time on August 15, 2012 .
Entries remain the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. One direct entry per person. No limit on indirect entries. A direct entry is made by a qualified entrant who submits an entry at INeedSpainSweepstakes.com. An indirect entry is an entry automatically entered when you forward the entry form including your referral code to a friend and the friend is a qualified entrant and completes an entry using your referral code. No mailed or faxed entries will be accepted. Facsimiles, photocopies or mechanical reproductions of entries will be void.
III. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED
Prize winners will be randomly chosen from eligible entries by Sponsor on or about August 16, 2012. Prize winners do not need to be present to win. Grand Prize winner will be notified by Certified Mail. First Prize and Second Prize winners will be notified by email. Odds of winning a prize are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries.
IV. PRIZE(S)
104 prizes will be awarded.
One (1) Grand Prize of two round-trip airline tickets from Chicago, IL to Barcelona, Spain; 5 days/4 nights at a Eurostar Hotel in a double room, round-trip private transfers between airport and hotel. Breakfast daily, cooking class, market tour, hop-on/hop off tour tickets, flamenco show – tapas dinner at Poble Espanyol. Trip must be completed between November 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $6000.
Grand Prize winner responsible for transportation of winner and guest to Chicago, IL departure/arrival airport.
Two (2) First Prize “Tapas for Two” gift baskets with ARV of $50 each from La Tienda.
One (1) Second Prize, a free online Spanish course with ARV of $105 from Instituto Cervantes
One hundred (100) Third Prize $10 Gift Cards with ARV of $10 each from La Tienda.
If the actual value of a prize is less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded. All elements of the prize including tickets are subject to availability. All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. Grand Prize winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining and presenting any and all documentation and materials required to receive the prize including a valid passport (e.g., winner may be required to present a valid major credit card at the time of check-in to cover expenses not included in the prize). Some restrictions may apply. Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the prize. Winner is not entitled to exchange or transfer prize or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prize of equal or greater value.
V. RELEASES
By participating in the Sweepstakes and/or accepting any prize, entrants, including winners and intended guest of Grand Prize winner, agree to release Sponsor, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability and claims for damage, expense, injury, harm or death resulting from his or her participation in this Sweepstakes and his or her acceptance or use of a prize and acknowledges that Sponsor is not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.
Entrants, including winner and intended guest of Grand Prize winner, authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material (“Image, Information and Materials”), in any and all media now known or hereafter created or conceived, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner list, if applicable, without further obligation compensation or additional permission unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the Image, Information and Materials, but may do so and may edit such Image, Information and Materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further obligation, compensation or permission.
In the event any prize winner is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with Official Rules including return of an executed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, unchanged, or is not available to claim prize during specified dates, then an alternate winner may, at Sponsor’s option be selected at random. In addition, if Sponsor is unable to contact the winner using the contact information provided, a winner is deemed ineligible, or fails to comply with the Official Rules, the winner will be disqualified, the prize forfeited, and a new winner may be selected at Sponsor’s option at random. The Grand Prize trip must be completed between November 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013 or the Grand Prize will be forfeited.
To claim prize winner must: (a) provide proof of winner’s age, residency, and legal status; (b) sign and return Affidavit of Eligibility and Release and any other releases or certificates requested by Sponsor without revision or deletion; and (c) have winner’s intended guest if the Grand Prize Winner or if the intended guest of the Grand Prize Winner is a minor the guest’s parent or guardian, sign and return releases requested by Sponsor without revision or deletion; all within the time period(s) specified by Sponsor.
VI. PERMISSION TO CONTACT; WINNERS’ LIST; MISCELLANEOUS
By participating, entrants give their permission to each Sponsor to contact you for purpose of Sponsor marketing. You must contact each Sponsor directly if you wish to opt out of marketing by the Sponsors. Sponsors do not otherwise have permission to contact entrants.
These Official Rules shall govern in case of any conflict between the Official Rules and any other Sweepstakes-related materials, or any ambiguity related to any other Sweepstakes-related materials. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects. By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules and consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Cook County Illinois. Entrants are responsible for any and all costs of redemption or travel to redeem said prize, and any liability, which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem, said prize.
All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries are subject to verification and are automatically void if forged, altered, or irregular in any way. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing or completing this Sweepstakes, or the integrity or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event or cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control, including but not limited to electronic disruption, virus, bugs, tampering, printing or production errors, or other causes including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that disrupt the administration, security or proper play of this Sweepstakes as originally planned, Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes without further obligation. If Sponsor, in its discretion, elects to abbreviate the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such event or cause. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
